Resort
Situated on a 240-acre farm, directly on Rice Lake, Elmhirst focuses on sustainable business practices, raising their own Angus beef, ducks and turkeys. In summer months the bounty is harvested and served to table directly in a gourmet family style delight.
Accommodations
There are 28 cabins available that sleep more than 70. Each cabin has a shared lounge area, unobstructed views of the lake and a small kitchenette. Deluxe rooms are equipped with ensuites. Superior rooms share an ensuite and bunkee rooms are a shared room and shared ensuite meaning 2 beds in 1 room.
Cottages and rooms are assigned as registered. Accommodation can be made for a group in the same cottage if booked prior to January 30, 2025- see details below for booking.

Each attendee will receive one drink ticket, and while meals and refreshments do not include alcoholic beverages, these can be purchased on-site or enjoyed in your cabin.
Remember, registrations are non-refundable after January 15th, 2025, but name transfers are available for a $25 admin fee prior to March 10, 2025.

Please note: Beds are meant for single guests only and are assigned on a first registered basis based on the package booked. If you would like to be in the same cottage as a colleague, please email admin@dhpo.ca with the subject line “Multiple Registration” and someone will contact you to discuss it further. You will need information for all guests staying in each cabin with all forms of payment available.
